“ We happened upon The Whitebrook and Chef Chris graciously made room for 2 more for the 9 course Tasting Menu. What a wonderful experience. Manuel and the other staff were so very helpful and the meals were a wonder. Highly recommend! ”
“ We had lunch here on Thursday. I am in a powered wheelchair, the last time we ate there, I was able to get in easily, but this time, there was some work being done on the back terrace, but the waiter went and got a ramp and made a lot of effort to get me into the restaurant. The food was outstanding, we asked the sommelier to choose wines to go with the dishes and they were all excellent. We pushed the boat out a bit, so the bill was large, but you get what you pay for, and they have, quite rightly a Michelin star. No complaints from us. ”
“ Lovely food and service is really good. I have been twice, once staying in the rooms so I could enjoy the wine flight. The wine flight was particularly interesting as I had three orange wines that paired well with the dishes. The room was cosy. The breakfast was nice as well. ”
“ My husband and I had their 7-course dinner, and it was absolutely sublime. All the dishes were well-balanced and clean. Even the pork dish, which could be too rich and heavy most of the time, was not. The quality of ingredients and presentation was phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed even the dishes with ingredients that I normally would not be fond of. That speaks to the genius of the chef who clearly knows how to combine various flavors to complement and enhance one another. The courses were also perfectly paced, and we felt pleasantly well fed by the end of it all. Honestly, the experience here is underpriced for what you’ll get. Can’t wait to return! ”
“ Excellent food well worthy of a Michelin star. Dinner B&B offers good value for what you get. Perfect for a special night away. ”
“ Wife and I went in there just for food. It was incredible. You do need a bit of time, it’s a 9 course meal but they do give you a few extras here and there so it becomes a lengthy one. Just ignore your phone and enjoy the food really :) it’s amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The photo I’m adding is of my favourite dish of the night. ”
“ Lovely, the food is light, fulfilling and dellicately delicious. The tasting menu with wine pairing left me feeling replenished and energised rather than stuffed full. The staff are informative, attentive, and lovely and made our stay very enjoyable . The Whitebrook feels like a doorway to the wild lands that surround and nourish it. Wonderful. ”
“ Went for Sunday lunch, beautiful valley location. Arrived for 1230 we didn't leave until 1700. Beautiful and considered dishes, amazing suckling pig, should have tried the dandelion expresso martini...next time. The wine pairing complemented every dish, intensifying the flavours, dandelion root ice-cream. Well worth taking the time to discover the beautiful valley, and plan on enough time to enjoy the food and hospitality. ”
